Learning a Brand New Trade

I decided that I wanted to look around for something new to do for work. I was going to college and I was not making the money that I wanted to make. Of course, everyone wanted more money, but I really needed to find a way to make more so I could continue going to school.

A couple of my friends worked as cocktail bartenders. They made a lot of money doing this and I decided that I wanted to give it a shot. Since I lived in a college town, there were not a lot of openings. I asked my friends who worked as bartenders to let me know of any openings. Read the rest of this entry »

Getting a Commercial Juicer to Make Smoothies

Omega 9000 Juicer- (similiar to 1000 model) but with 15 year warrantyIf you’ve ever used a juicer before, you know that you use a lot of fruit and the juice that comes out doesn’t seem to be appropriate for how much fruit you used! That’s why I decided to get a commercial juicer.

A commercial juicer is much better at extracting all the juice from the fruit. It really makes a difference to my pocketbook, since I don’t have to buy as many fruits as I did before. I can also now make much more juice altogether, since my old juicer was much, much smaller. Read the rest of this entry »

The Importance of an Organized Kitchen

My father has been a kitchen chef for some time now but despite being such an awesome, amazing cook he had no sense of responsibility. You would not believe how often he lost things! It was actual quite comical at times; a cook needs his tools but unfortunately he would always lose his victorinox kitchen knives. These knives are pretty stellar too and if you knew how often I bought them for him, you would wonder why I would keep buying them! My father doesn’t have much in his life to make him happy, he has always been focused on fulfilling whims and needs of those desiring food – it started with cooking for his family, when we didn’t have a whole lot of money, he was always coming up with some of the greatest dishes. I wish I had his intuition with food, it was like he knew exactly what would go with what – what flavors naturally complimented one another. Read the rest of this entry »
